Mt. Mansfield Ski Education Foundation

The Mt. Mansfield Ski Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization, and the programs and opportunities offered at MMSC are in part thanks to the generous support of many members of our community. Each contribution is appreciated and makes a difference as we strive to develop whole athletes and provide support for their passion and pursuit of excellence in athletics, academics and life.

Increasing scholarship funding for deserving athletes is an important priority for MMSC. The Mt. Mansfield Ski Education Foundation Scholarship Committee recently has focused on clearly outlining the scholarship application process while developing avenues to increase the pool of funds to be awarded. We hope to continue this pattern of growth to provide meaningful support to committed athletes.

We thank you for considering a donation – each and every contribution of any size is important to the continued success of our programs.

Keeping the Dream Alive Fund

Established in 2017 in honor and memory of Charles Paul “Rat” Reed, the Keeping the Dream Alive Fund provides support for deserving and qualified athletes pursuing their personal dream – to achieve excellence in alpine ski racing.

Awards from the Keeping the Dream Alive Fund are presented annually – specifically to help pay for MMSC sponsored and organized ski racing camps. Awards are given to athletes who show financial need, dedication, discipline, and determination in pursuit of excellence, sportsmanship, and the adventuresome, loyal, and dedicated spirit of Paul “Rat” Reed. Recipients must be competing and training with MMSC as a U14 or U16, and current members of the United States Ski Association.

Initial funding has been generously provided by friends and family of Paul Reed. Consider joining this group in making a contribution.

Athlete application details for the next year are forthcoming.
