Freestyle/Freeski Full-Time Program
This program is for athletes 12 and older who are serious about competing in mogul and/or freeski competitions. You would become a student at Mt. Mansfield Winter Academy and train 6 days a week or you might be a high school graduate (PG) who is looking to make a push to the next level. There is also a tutorial program for Stowe students where all classes are taken with Stowe High School. You need to contact them for details.

FI+II Weekend Program
This program is for athletes 15 and older who would like to continue in their progression of freestyle/freeskiing in a weekend format. The program is designed to give athletes the maximum amount of training possible in order to achieve his or her goals. Athletes can combine this on-snow training schedule with an education at Mt. Mansfield Winter Academy where classes are structured to fit in with training.

FIII Weekend Program
This program is for budding freestyler/freeskiers who are 13 and 14 years old. You can become a part of the Mt. Mansfield Winter Academy and train 6 days a week or join our weekend program and train 2 1/2 days on weekends and everyday during holidays. Emphasis is on mastering safe mogul and/or aerial fundamentals in the park or pipe using Video Technique Analysis. All athletes must be USSA members and USSA Eastern Freestyle Organization members. Competitions are on local, state, regional and national levels.

FIV Weekend Program
This freestyle/freeski program is for those athletes who are 11 and 12 years old. This is a weekend program which also includes Friday afternoons and the Vermont school holidays. The program starts in late November and runs through March.  Participation in events is optional, but strongly suggested in order for children to get a taste of competing.  Participants will learn the fundamentals of being a freestyle/freeskiers including ski tuning, competition preparation & execution of mogul courses.  Emphasis is on free skiing, ski drills and safe aerial technique.

FV+VI Weekend Program
This freestyle program is for those athletes who are 7-10 years old. This is a weekend program which also includes Friday afternoons and everyday during the Vermont school holidays. If you are looking for training on Sunday only, then please refer to the JV+VI Sunday Only Program. Emphasis is on basic ski technique; introduction to moguls, half-pipe, terrain park and fun in the sport, in small groups of 8-10.  The goal is to acquire a good ski base, learn about good sportsmanship and positive team spirit. Must be a member of USSA and USSA Eastern Freestyle Organization.

Mandatory Winter Dryland Program
This winter dryland program is designed for athletes in any of our full-time programs. Designed for those athletes who have decided to pursue their respective sport more seriously, the winter program will focus on maintaining strength and flexibility. The dates of this program mirror the dates of the full programs. The dryland is monitored and implemented by Phit Performance Training. While this program will provide structure to your son’s or daughter’s winter workouts, keep in mind that he or she should be working out even harder during the off season. Phit has programs for all times of year and has the input of our coaches so they focus on the proper fitness routines. There is a charge for this mandatory dryland program, refer to the MMSC Remittance Form for fees.
